Since 1970, the name Western Carolina Supply Co., Inc. has been synonymous with customer service in the plumbing industry of western North Carolina. The business, founded by two partners in late 1970, is still owned by the members of the Earl Digh family, one of the original partners, and managed by members of his family and many members of his original staff. Although Earl's day to day involvement in the business is now limited, his principals of "taking care of the customer" and "exceptional customer service" remain the tenets of our business even today. We continue to operate our main branch at 773 First Avenue SW in Hickory, NC and in the last several years have expanded our warehouse space to include an adjacent warehouse on Second Avenue. This greatly improved our ability to provide all of the needs of our plumbing contractors and the public- which we serve through our retail showroom. In 1992, we opened our first branch office in Shelby, NC, where we operate a showroom and a fully stocked warehouse. The opening of this branch has greatly improved our customer service and coverage in the Shelby area. One of the greatest assets in providing "exceptional customer service" are the employees of Western Carolina Supply Co. With an average of over 20 years of experience each, our employees are some of the most knowledgeable in the industry.
